Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am always hot even when others say the temperature is comfortable or cool. I am currently 200 lbs and 5 4 I am trying to lose weight but even before the weight gain (result of 4 peeps) I was always warm as well. I was diagnosed with hypertension and I am not currently on any mediation. When I was on medication I still had the same problem of constant high body heat. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations I can take to my doctor?
Hi,
Your problem arises because of the fact that you are overweight. The fat accumulated in beneath the skin acts as an insulation barrier which provides warmth. The best way to tackle this would be to lose weight.By regular exercise you can control your hypertension too.Hope this answers your query

Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic
Intolerance to heat or high body temperature suggest a high BMR (basal metabolic rate). It may be an inborn tendency or hormonal imbalance like hyperthyroid or menopause etc.
So kindly suggest your doctor to rule out those by examination and blood tests like T3 T 4 TSH etc.also I would suggest you to decrease your weight
Thanks
