Will There Be Any Developmental Abnormalities During Pregnancy?

Hello, I got pregnant using a copper IUD, which was successfully removed, and I am continuing the pregnancy. I am wondering about the possibility - however slim or minor - of developmental abnormalities. What types of developmental abnormalities could occur? Thanks.

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. There are no risk of any developmental anomaly if the intrauterine device was removed on the detection of pregnancy. I would suggest you to get a detailed anomaly ultrasound at18-20 weeks to be sure hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
