hello
welcome to health care magic.
oral contraceptive pills work by supressing ovulation. as the pills are withdrawan the bleeding stops and the body's hormonal levels come to normal. oral contraceptive pills do not affect fetility in any way. this has been seen by all the large randomised control trials. the evience today says that fertility is not affected by the use of oral contraceptive pills once one leaves them. most of the women conceive within a 2 or cycles after leaving the pill. you can read more about the pill an its benefits and many myths associated on the rhl website.
