my X-Ray result : marginal osteophytes are noted in the lower cervical bodies (C4 to C6) with bridging seen at C4-C5.Interspaces,vertical height and pedicles are preserved.Pre vertebral soft tissues are not thickened. Rest of the included osseous structure is 4=unremarkable. what does it mean. 39 years, 162cm and weighs 69kgs.
Hi!
X-Ray findigs you describe indicate degenerative process like spondylosis, and some degeneration is going to happen as one advances in age. If the reduction is disc spaces is minimal and osteophytes along anterior aspect of vertebral bodies, I wouldn't scare you at all. PLUS, remember that you treat individuals and NOT pictures. So, much would depend on your symptoms. You need to step up your concerns in case of severe pain radiating down a arm, numbness or muscle weakness, when you may consider getting an MRI scan. For small discomfort or pain, try few sessions of physiotherapy and you should be fine.
