Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
97.4 body temperature and burning up with body heat and sweating I am currently burning up with body heat, sweating, and took my temperature and its 97.4. Does a low temperature mean you can feel symptoms like these?
Thank you Dr. Kumar. I have Hashimoto's with full thyroidectomy and had my Synthroid reduced from 137 to 125 only a couple of weeks ago. I suspected thyroid, but didn't think it could hit this fast. I greatly appreciate the quick response and am already scheduled to see my primary next week. I am just puzzled by the sweating and body heat versus a low temperature and couldn't find anything on the Net to see if this was possible. Regards, Cathy
