Any woman of reproductive age who is seeking long-term and highly effective contraception can use copper T.Before a Copper T is placed, a physical examination is important to make sure that the reproductive organs are normal and that no infections are present.Your medical and lifestyle history is also important. It can be inserted at any phase of the menstrual cycle, but the best time is right after the menstrual period because this is when the cervix is softest and when women are least likely to be pregnant.
There are various choices of contraception method ranging from barrier method to IUD insertion or Oral contraceptives. You have to get yourself examined by a gynaecologist before getting IUD(Copper T) inserted so that she can rule out any contraindications. Also it is inserted after your monthly cycles are over.
