Pancreas Mass Is A Cancer??

could a pancreas mass the size of a softball be cancer. i just found out my grandma has this. is it possible that it could not be cancer?

it may be a cancer and also may not be a cancer. if she has a cancer than the symptoms will be of pancreas cancer and if it is something else other than cancer, symptoms would be different. it takes a lot of investigation like ct and other blood tests to confirm the cancer of pancreas
