What Does Minimal Joint Effusion Mean?
what does minimal joint effusion mean? I had left knee mri done for pain. There is a longitudinal tear in the posterior horn of the medial meniscus with a oblique radial component. Surgery was suggested by the ortho. What is your opinion. Appreciate your answer.

minimal effusion is a quantitative term .it is the amount of fluid accmulated in your knee cavity. It is graded according to quantity of fluid minimum-moderate. As far as tear is concerned .Treatment for that is repair (surgery)
