Can I Swim During Betadine And Danacil Treatment For Cervical Erosion?
Question: I went to a gynecologist to have the mirina removed because of making me feel tired, depress, spotty and strong pains on my right side of abdomen . I found out that I have cervical erosion and the doctor prescribed betadine treatment for two days and danacil vaginal ovule also I think it's was result of putting the mirina do you think this is the rigth treatment ? I am also have a sis of 2 cm should I be worried ?waiting for the smear test which I had done two months ago by the gynecologist who put me the mirina with good results however my actual gynecologist told me that the cervical erosion it looks from months before could you advice on this and also wonder if is good to go to the pool while the treatment ?

It is best to avoid the pool until the treatment course is over.
Just 2 days course of Betadine and Danacil will not suffice, take it for a week.
Where do you have the cyst ( I assume you meant cyst when you wrote sis ) - if diagnosed on a scan, please upload the repport.
When did you learn that you have an erosion.
Erosion can be acute - recent or chronic, which is long standing.
Only looking at it would enable me to say how long you have had it.
Mirena too can cause erosion, it is not a big problem, as it heals with good treatment.
Please upload all scans, findings, prescriptions , smears so that I can understand and comment better.

Thank you for the reply I need to go to the doctor to get all the paper work to be able to send it to you. Today I am bleeding I think it migh be my period would you please tell me if is ok to carry on with the treatment with betadine ?
