Suggest Treatment For Severe Hip Pain

This is xxxxxxx back again. From last 15 days my wife has a stretching pain starting from hip and gradually moving down till upper portion of ankle on the right leg. She had taken indocap sr initially and the result was good. Its almost 10 days she had left taking indocap and the pain has returned. Its not a continuous pain all the time but is felt only at certain positions only. I am attaching a sketch for your reference.

According to your description, your wife might be having Vitamn D deficiency with Mechanical back pain.
It is a common medical problem. Mechanical back pain implies the source of pain is in the spine and/or its supporting structure. The surrounding muscles and ligaments may develop reactive spasm and pain. t can cause a radiating pan to the leg due to mild disc protrusion.
The following measures will help with the pain
• Lie on a hard bed.
• Anti -inflammatory drugs like Tablet Motrin or Brufen 1 tablet as and when required ( do not repeat a dose before 6 hours) with food will help relieve the pain.
• Correct your posture while sitting
• Avoid prolonged sitting
• Avoid strenuous activity & lifting heavy weights.
• Apply diclofenac gel on the affected area. Warm compresses will also help.
The most essential and long lasting remedy is exercises. There are certain back strengthening and isometric exercises that you must learn from a physiotherapist and perform them at home or work whenever possible.
