Brief Answer:
Needs evaluation in detail

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
As you have mentioned about a minor skull fracture in your medical history, further details will be helpful in understanding your condition.

The symptoms described by you are rare but not unheard of. Pain in upper neck and occipital regions and upper neck when shouting might be felt when there is increased pressure in the brain following your actions. Many people also complain about getting headache after laughing violently for the same reason. The cerebellum might be getting slightly impacted after shouting and this might give rise to symptoms. It is important to consult a neurologist and discuss your past head injury in detail. If necessary a MRI brain might be done to evaluate and possible problems leading to increased brain pressure after yelling and might be related to your earlier head injury.

Acitaminophen may give you relief but understanding the complete problem is essential.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
