What Causes Strings Of Merina IUD Hanging Out Of The Vagina?
Question: I just had a Merina IUD placed exactly seven days ago, I checked the strings and they were further up my vagina. Now, I can fee one of the strings poking out of my vagina. What is going on?

Thank you doctor. .. I have not bled at all since insertion just very light spotting when wiping. However... I was pushing a little too hard to have bowel movement. (was kind of constipated).. Could that have been the case? I have not had sex either.
