What Does S. Albumin Stand For?
Question: WHAT IS S.ALBUMIN STAND FOR
Hi,
Thanks for writing to health care magic.
S. Albumin is serum albumin. It is the most abundant plasma protein in humans. It is formed in the liver. It is useful for transport of various substances in the body and is responsible for keeping the fluids in the blood vessels. A decrease of serum albumin will result in swelling of the body because of escape of fluid from the vessels.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
