Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
Your infant seems to have gastro enteritis.
Monitor for signs of dehydration.
They include
1. Decreased skin turgor
2. Increasing thirst.
3. Sunken eyes.
4. Irritability.
5. Drowsiness.
6. Decreasing passage of urine.
Oral rehydration solution or any other solution containing salt and sugar should be given.
Probiotics and Zinc prescribed by your doctor will be useful.

In case of further dehydration the child requires Intravenous fluids.
Antiemetics as prescribed by your paediatrician after physical examination will be useful.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.

Hi Dear,
Welcome to the board of Health Care Magic.
Your child is suffering with Viral Respiratory tract infection and Vomiting ,loose motions. This associated problem could be because of Post nasal drip ( a concurrent situation with RTI).
So one has to take care of both RTI and Gastroenteritis.
Teething of the child is a routine continuous activity 6 months onwards . Usually teething do not cause any such disease ( as often thought in the society) but because of irritation in the gums, child use to put fingers and other things in his mouth recurrently and these articles are infected, which in turn leads to stomach upset.
Hope your query is answered
Thanks
