Any Suggestion For Continuous Cough After Eating Piece Of Lettuce That Went Into Wrong Tube?
My Sister in law was eating lunch today and a piece of lettuce went down the wrong tube and she can't seem to clear it . I had her drink soda figuring the fizz would dislodge it , she felt better for a bit but it seems to have come up for discussion again , She is breathing ok just keeps coughing , is there something else We can try ?

Hi, Cough can be due to Foreign body ( lettuce); can cause coughing. It is always better to visit the Emergency room, get a X-ray of chest done.
