CAT Scan Of Neck Done. Cancer?

I'm a 51 year od healthy (I thought) male. I had a CAT scan done on my left side ofmy neck, because I
had the feeling something was growing inisde of me, and the pain over the past two weeks was unbearable.
The CAT scan showed multiple calculi within the lingual tonsils, and punctate calcifications in this region suggestiong a chronic component.

The impression is masslike enlargement of the tonsillar tissues, and they recommended direct visualization. Could thi be cancer?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I can understand your concern but you need to worry because this is not the cancer, as you have been advised for direct ideal examination this would clear the picture, in my opinion this could be saliva duct pathology (Parotid gland ), it will come around with proper line of treatment, have good day.
