Can Breast Implant Cause Problem In Mammogram Examination?
I had a breast lift and implants done back in June of 2010. I am experiencing burning pain in my left breast only. I mentioned this to my p/s and he said it is normal that the nerve endings are repairing it self. I had a mammogram exam in January and I just received a phone call to come back and have my left breast re-examed.. I asked what was the problem and I was told that it did not give a clear reading. Could that have something to do with the implant itself?

Unless the doctors we told for sure that you had breast implants, it would be difficult to settle on all the findings as these do light up on testing. It is nothing to panic about right now. Show up and get the test repeated so that trust worthy results would be provided to you.
