Chest Pain After Swallowing Chicken Bone. X-ray Did Not Show Any Foriegn Particle. Taking Medicines. Pain Persists After Burping.
Hi, i swallowed a small chicken bone yesterday and i felt a chest pain after i drunk water. and the pain remained. until now. I already had a chest xray and the doc didnt see any foreign body on it.she gave me 2 type of medicine and i have to take it for a week. i can feel a relief after burping but the pain return just right after i burp

Hello user, small chicken pieces are sometimes not seen on chest X-Ray and requires CT scan/MRI to detect foreign body.
You are advised to continue meds for 2-3 days and if pain persists, advised to have above tests.
