Child Birth, Hypothyroidism. On Thyronorm. Gall Bladder Removed. Non Hormonal Oral Contraceptive?
Hi doctor. I am 30 years old. Gave birth to a baby 6 months ago thro normal delivery. I have mild hypothyroidism . So I take 37 mcg thyronorm tablet everyday. I also went thro gall bladder removal surgery last month. I am looking for a non hormonal oral contraceptive . Please help. I tried cerazette and it gave me severe hair fall. Please help.
Hello and thank you for asking! I have gone carefully through your concern. Non hormonal effective contraceptive methods are intrauterine devices containing copper. They are officious and the fertility is reversible after the device removal. Discuss with your treating physician about it. Kind regards, Dr.Mirjeta
