Cholesterol, Triglycerides, LDL, HDL Results Showed Abnormality. On Orlistat. What Can Be Done?

I am lady of 54 years of age, 5ft4inchs, 85kgs...recent test results show - HDL/41, LDL/183, Cholestrol/286, Triglycerides/289, No blood sugar or thryroid. Been prescribed Rosave 5 - 1per day and Orlistat 60 - 1 per day, just begun taking them since 2 days? How do these medicines help? Should I take rosave before or after meals. Taking Orlistat 1/2 hour before meals. I walk 5 kms per day, quite active otherwise.

You are suffering from obesity and dyslipidemia.
Tablet Orlistat is given to you to decrease obesity. Its primary function is to prevent absorption of fats from diet thus it reduces calorie intake and ultimately reduces obesity.
Tablet Rosave belongs to statins group of drugs. It is used in primary hypercholesterolemia. It inhibits HMG CoA reductase inhibitor and thus decreases level of lipids in blood. It should be taken after food at night.

You should lead active life as you are already doing.
Avoid red meat and fried food.
Get well soon.
