Dear sir

Magnesium has shown to control blood pressure by acting through central nervous system.

Magnesium sulphate is even widely used in pregnancy to control blood pressure especially in eclampsia condition

Soda contains mainly of sodium bicarbonate which has no independent effect on blood pressure.

Salts like sodium causes water retention and raise in blood pressure.

Thanks
