Does Removal Of Ovaries Cure Formation Of Cysts?

I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago and since that time I had continued to have cysts on my ovaries that burst causing severe pain. I have been told by numerous GYNs and ER doctors that there is nothing that can be done and because of my age they will not even consider removing the ovaries. If I can find a doctor that will remove my ovaries, will this cure the problem?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

After hysterectomy, the ovaries become dormant after 2-3 years. If you are still experiencing cyst in the ovaries, you may get it removed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
