Done Vaginal Hysterectomy And Oopherectomy Recently. Is It Safe To Start Running?

I had a total hysterectomy and oopherectomy on July 17. Totally vaginal with no laparascope. I feel really great but am kind of nervous to start running again. I've been running 2.5 miles daily for about 18 months. I have a feeling my doctor is going to tell me to wait a long time when I go for my checkup on Monday.

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
In my opinion , you should take 3-6 months rest as all sutures are internal and the whole procedures will take at least 3 months to heal.
Till than have a smooth walk and no abdominal pressure.
Good luck.
