Done With Hysterosalpingogram. Results Show Mild Opacification In The Fallopian Tube. What Can Be Done?
Good Day, I did an hysterosalpingogram and the result says that there is a mild opacificatio of the left and right fallopian tubes from the level of isthmus consistent with bilateral corneal occlusion. No intraperitoneal spill is demonstrated. Can you please break it down for me. thanks where do I check for the answer?
Bilateral tubal occlusion form isthmus to corneal end is difficult to treat. This can occur due to infection, adhesions etc. Hysteroscopic tubal dilatation can sometimes help but for for excessive adheisons that may not get opened due to this. Sometimes tuboplasty is possible. For it the possible remaining length of the tubes after surgery are important. So you discuss these possibilities with your doctor and proceed according to her advice. If no technique is useful you may have to go for artificial reproductive techniques.
