Exhausted All Time, Weight Gain, Depression And Anxiety, Thyroid Tests Normal. Anything Else ?
hi I have been tested 2 times for thyroid problems and each time the Doc says my blood test comes back fine. But I have so many of the symptoms. Exhausted all the time, weight gain, and no matter what I do it doesn't seem to come off, runs in the family, depression and anxiety etc. If I am sure something is wrong but keep getting told its fine what should I ask the Doctor for? is there a more specific test or something available?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Since symptoms of weight gain, exhaustion and normal Thyroid level. This may be due to PCOD(female) or cretinism. Get done one USG abdomen and pelvis, morning cortisol level, lipid profile and blood glucose level to diagnose the cause. Get back with the reports and information on her menstrual period(If female). Have adequate regular sleep, plenty of fluids, nutritious diet with required calorie and regular outdoor exercises for wellbeing. Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further management. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries. Wish you good health. Take care.
