Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
With respect to your age, I will categorize your symptoms in 3 most likely causes. You could be suffering from a:
- Thyroid disorder
- Metabolic disorder such as type 1
diabetes mellitus or protein-energy malnutrition/starvation/
malabsorption syndrome
- Psychosocial disorder.
I hardly doubt, you are having any form of infection, given that you do not present with an infectious syndrome.
Now looking at your 3 most potential causes,
hypothyroidism could have your present with those symptoms (even though your age may want to rule that out as it is a diseases that affects mostly the older population). You will need to be tested for T3, T4 and TSH levels and if abnormalities, then a possible conclusion can be drawn and treatment provided to correct this situation before symptoms can be subdued.
Another possibility is a metabolic disorder with a major condition such as
type 1 diabetes mellitus being responsible. Doing a repeat fasting blood sugar,
glycated hemoglobin and
urinalysis can immediately clarify us regarding this suspicion. Other metabolic problems are milder and less likely such as malabsorption and malnutrition secondary to poor feeding, starvation, malabsorption etc.
A psychiatric disorder can also lead to those symptoms, even though this is less likely given that you are young and less likely going to have any major psychiatric disorder than can cause you feel tasty and have frequent
headaches.
I suggest you see a doctor as soon as possible for a complete medical evaluation.
Hope this helps and wish you the best
