Feels Like Lungs Have No Air Whenever Sitting Up After Total Abdominal Hysterectomy And Oophorectomy. Why ?

46 year old female. I am a little over two weeks post surgery for a total abdominal hysterectomy and oophorectomy . Any time I sit up from a laying position, it feels like my lungs have no air. It takes a few minutes for me to feel like I can breathe. Is this a side-effect from anesthesia , or something else? Thank you.
