Has Febrile Convulsion, Fever, Cold And Cough. Reason?

Hi, my son is 1yr 3 mths old. his weight is 11 kgs. He has febrile convultion on 27th March at around 10 pm after which we admited him to hospital. He again had second convultion on 28th morning at about 11 am. Now he is fine his fever is in control, but due to tepid sponging he has got severe cold and cough. Few of my friend are suggesting me to do EEG test for my son to know the reason for convultion. please advise.
