How To Increase Amniotic Fluid?
Hi.....my wife is in her 32nd week of pregnancy. Doctors had diagnosed that she has low amniotic fluid and had been admitted to hospital. My wife is also on medication for thyroid. What can be done to increase the amniotic fluid level and is her condition serious and I should be worried.

Hi,in cases of low amniotic fluid she should be given alamine drips with alternate 5%dextrose drips.She should be started on arginine sachets twice daily and should be given high protein diet and coconut water.she should be on bed rest and should keep close vigilance on babys movements.Secondly a ultrasound doppler should be done to determine the timing for delivery of the baby.take care
