What is it called, and what causes it, when I exhale involuntaraly. It s like my cheeks fill up with air, and then it kind of makes a puffing or popping sound when the air comes out. I am 45, 170lbs, and not very good medical history. I am in the process of see a sleep doctor currently, they aren t sure what to do with me. I have mild sleep apnea, i m not getting proper oxygen during sleep, but they told me the CPAP machine didn t work. Still waiting for my next visit. I also am having insomnea but am not on any sleep aides yet. I have interstitial cystitis, chronic shingles, and some type of reactive arthritis they haven t figured out a diagnosis for that yet. One doctor said Reiter s Syndrome, another said Fibromyalgia, current docotor doen t know for sure.
