I Keep Getting Really Bad Shoulder Pains, What Could Be The Reason ?
hi. I keep getting really bad shoulder pains. Its at the top of my left shoulder and feels like a burning feeling. I have had it for years but its getting worst and the pain is right above a mole i have. Do u know what it might be? Thanks
you have only mentioned pain in shoulder for years ,any associated stiffness or limited range of motion, having DM? this long standing pain may be due to frozen shoulder. it wax and wane over time.mainstay of treatment is analgesic, intra articular steriod injection and last but not the least regular physical therapy (streching excercise). surgery may be indicated in refractory cases. consult a doctor nearby.
you are probably suffering from brachial neuritis or pain due to neuropraxia. in simple words you have neuralgea ( pain due to insult of nerves which is originates from brachial plexus situated near shoulder jt. region). read carefully. dont try any type of physiotherpy urself it will worson the pain and damaging the nerves more. give maximum rest to yr shoulder. consult qualified physiotherepist, if you resides a big city ... consult an anaesthesiologist for nerve block .
