A cord round neck is a common occurrence, found in almost 20 % of pregnancies.
It is not a contra indication to normal labour.
Polyhydramnios is when your
amniotic fluid is on the higher side, but 17 is not that high.
I do not see any reason why you should not be given a trial for vaginal normal delivery.
It is possible that cord round neck causes some complications during normal delivery - such as fetal heart beat changes and risk of
fetal death.
However, if your doctor is willing to monitor you, and the centre is equipped for intensive surveillance of the fetal
heart rate, then you can go for a trial of normal labour.
At any time, a Cesarean section might be required if there are ominous changes in the heart rate of the baby, so be prepared for that.
