Itchiness Under Foot. What Is The Fluid Inside? Why The Discomfort?
After a long day of walking, I develop an itchy feelings under my foot specifically my under my right foot. In the itching area are small inclination under the skin that are filled with clear fluid. The discomfort is not relieved until the fluid is release. The inclination is so small that it is noticed by touch associated with the discomfort. Once located and pricked by a nail cutter, you can visually see a small hole where the fluid was collected. Is this normal?
Welcome to HealthCare Magic Evette... You problem looks like friction blister, which is very common after long walking. But as you said itchy, friction blisters tends to be painful rather than itchy. Anyway make sure to clean the area with antiseptics and cover it with bandage, This will prevent from getting secondary bacterial infection.
The itching and small inclination filled with clear fluid under the skin is due to trauma to the foot, caused by walking long distances. The trauma has damaged the skin under the foot which has released histamine responsible for itching and exudation of fluid resulting in small vesicles formation.
Take rest for 1 to 2 days ,it will heal of itself.
