You may perform stretching exercises of the neck and moving neck in all directions.
A temporary use of
Cervical collar will give rest to the neck muscles to relax and heal.
Ice packs too will increase mobility of neck and reduce pain.
If
cervicalgia is due to constant mental stress/
anxiety, a course of anti-depressant + anti-anxiety drug along with muscle relaxants will be very helpful.
As a last resort, EMS and, particularly, Low-Level
Laser Therapy will be of great benefit.
