It is normal..normal heart rate is 60 to 90 beat per minute.. after exercise, walking, running, any physical activity there will be increased heart rate.. but it will come to normal by few minutes..

its normal phenomenon after excercise .but if it causes breathlessness in walk up stairs at less number of steps , then ther can be some pathology.so dont worry.take care

Heart has to pump the blood with more speed whenever there is any kind of exercise.
Climbing the stairs is also an exercise, so there groovihmi to worry.
But if you feel that this symptom has started recently and previously you had no complain for the same amount of activity then you should consult your physician.
