Prescribed Lexapro For Anxiety And Fatigue. Have High Blood Pressure. Any Side Effect?
Today I was prescribed Lexapro for anxiety and fatigue. The reviews that I just read on line make me think it may not be a good idea. i am 77 and healthy except for high blood pressure and some anxiety that disturbs my sleep, and I believe the anxiety and lack of sleep are causing the fatigue which isn't the usual me. Not sure the side effects are worth it!

Hi, it is a good idea to avoid the drugs as far as possible, at this age. Instead you can try natural remidies, for controle of anxiety, like yoga, meditation, reading books of your interest, and hearing music.
Of course there are side effects to all the drugs, but they are not true to every one. some people may have the side effects, means unusual effects, then they can stop the drugs . Thank you.
