Prescribed Cipralex And Nootropil For Anxiety, Shortness Of Breath, Palpitations. Can High Uric Acid And Cholesterol Lead To Above Symptoms?

Hi, i was having sudden anxiety, shortness of breath, palpitations and my teeth has been grinding a bit as well last few days, i visited a neuro and he has advised me some Cipralex & Nootropil since am having difficulty concentrating and feeling lost.
All this happened only last week and i dont have history for all this.
Just to be sure i visited another doctor, and requested for a Cholesterol & Uric Acid test.
My Chloesterol is 218 which i know is high and my Uric Acid - 9mg which is also high.
Is it cause of the Uric Acid am having the palpitations and anxiety? or is it stress related ?
I dont want to be eating the wrong medications so am worried.

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
In my opinion these symptoms are due to anxiety and not due to raised uric acid or cholesterol.In fact these are know only by measuring serum levels and donot have any symptoms.Your doctor has prescribed the right medication.Hope this helps and you will be normal soon.Decrease your stress levels and focus on relaxing techniques like yoga, meditation etc.
