Hello and thanks for posting your query on HCM
The MRI findings describe various injuries you have suffered in your right knee.
There are various ligaments which stabilize the knee joint.
The knee joint comprises of the thigh bone (femur) and calf bone (tibia).
ACL and PCL stand for anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament.
These two ligaments run obliquely from fibula to tibia, one in front and one at the back.
Medial collateral ligament lies on inner aspect of the knee joint.
I hope you get an impression of various attachment.
There is a tear in anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament.
However, there is no bony injury or fracture.

I hope my answer is of help to you.

Take care

Dear friend, thank you for choosing HCM.

I am concerned about your knee injury.
the MRI says that the ACL(anterior cruciate ligament) the string attaching the femur and leg bone tibia together is torn from its attachment and also bruised.
the medial collateral ligament , the string attaching the two bones on the inside (medial) of the femur bone joit surface is also completely torn.
these are intra -joint injuries and may need to be repaired arthroscopically.
of course it is to be decided by your orthopaedic surgeon.
please consult him / her regarding the next course of action. do not stress the joint/ leg .

I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily.
Take care and please keep me informed of your progress.
Good Luck !
