Should I Be Concerned About The Pain In Legs,fever And Runny Nose?

My 6 year daughter has what appears to be a cold for 3 days. Runny nose, sore throat, fever ranging from 99 up to 102.5. It is back down to 99 today. This morning she complained of leg pain and says tonight it really hurts to bend her knees. Should I be concerned it is something more serious or just typical aches from the infection?

I think that what is happening is that she has a viral fever causing the cold, runny nose and the other associated symptoms.

The fact that she has a low temperature again may suggest that the infection is close to the end.

I feel that the bodyache and the leg ache may be due to the viral fever and also due to the possibility that the fluid intake must have reduced.

I would suggest that you focus a bit more on the fluids and diet she is on. And she might improve on just that
