Small Bump On Roof Of Mouth Without Any Pain Or Changes In Size

Yesterday I noticed a small bump on the left side of my hard palate on the roof of my mouth, it does not hurt, and has not gotten any bigger. Any idea of what this could be? I have been very congested lately, sinus wise.

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum,

A mucocoele (salivary secretion filled sac) can appear on the hard palate due to the blockage of the minor salivary glands. You need to just wait and watch. Do not meddle with that swelling, if it increases in size please do contact an ENT specialist.

Good Luck

Regards

Dr. Naveen Kumar
