Suggest A Remedy To Reduce Pain In The Right Rib Cage
I fell during a run and knocked wind out of myself. Now for two weeks I have pain in right rib cage near pectoral muscle. Dull pain except when I sneeze or cough the can be pretty sharp with hard sneeze or cough. Otherwise, not too bad, but does not seem to be improving.

It is possible that you have a hairline rib fracture or a full rib fracture. the treatment for rib fracture is unfortunately limited to symptomatic treatment. The first thing is to take Aspirin to decreased the pain and also decrease any inflammation the second thing is to not sleep on that side at all. The third is to make sure you do not cause your body to breathe heavily or fast so decrease the aerobic exercises or any hard work. The vision is to give the rib bone a chance to heal and reform. so heavy breathing will not help in that process. If this dose not help and you still have pain you need an X ray and a consultation with a orthopedic specialist.
