Suggest Cause & Medication For Persistent Cough

I've bee coughing for four months now. I am taking zyxal to relive my cough but nothings change. I was thinking i might having GERD, or lung problem. But i don't have the symptoms of having fluid in my lungs or phuemonia. what could be the possible reason of my persistence coughing?

This could be due to several causes
1. sinusitis
2. allergic bronchitis
3. GERD
4. pneumonia/copd
The list is of course not exhaustive

I would suggest that you test the following
1. x ray pns waters view
2. ct chest
3. ugi endoscopy
4. IgE

Suggest a prescription of proton pump inhibitors till reports are awaited
