Suggest Remedy For Nose Block In Infants

Hello,My 22 month old baby suffers from nose block only in the nights. She doesn t have cold/runny nose. She wakes up 2 to 3 times every night and cries nosy nosy. Her ped. says she has no phlegm in her lungs an her ears are clear. This is been going on for couple of months now and I am concerned. Vicks baby rub and pillow are not of much help. please advise me.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Give the baby some steam 2 hours before bedtime. Also, while feeding the child make sure it is in sitting position and the the child remains in it for 30 mins after feeds. 2 weeks after practising there is no improvement then adenoids have to be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
