Suggest The Cause For A Crater Post Fistulotomy

I had a fistulotomy 3 days ago. my doctor told me to keep wound clean. I have had diarrhea in the AM 3 days in a row and am spending a lot of time in the tub, which seems to be irritating the wound area. I also seem to have what i would call a "crater" where fistula tract was removed. Will I always have this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

No. Once healed completely the crater will disappear.
There may be sign of surgery that will persists.

Regards
