Hello & welcome Gary. The antibiotics wiped of the harmful bacteria, but also affected the helpful good probiotic bacteria. If the diarrhoea and loose motion frequency is too much then probably u also haveopportunistic infection of cl. Defficile. I would suggest you to take lots of milk products and yogurt. A probiotic preparation is also helpful. Tablet vizilac or bifilac can be taken at bed time. I would also suggest a short course of tablet metrogyl or flagyl for opportunistic infection.
