Suggest Treatment For Pain Neat To My Temple Area

I experienced ice pick like pain near my right temple but more on top of my head and it lasted for about twenty seconds and it kept coming back every 5 minutes ( I was driving at the time) and when I got inside the house I felt dizzy and then I popped a motrin (200 mg) and then I felt nauseous for about half an hour...motrin kicked in and no more head pains. This occurred about three hours ago. I am a 26 year old female, I do smoke..about one every other day...this has never happenes before, is it a migraine or something else?
