You have
head trauma and head trauma is a severe condition
because complications could slowly and gradually evolve to
potentially lethal consequences.
However it appears you did have a mild head trauma since you
did not mention of any
loss of consciousness not abnormally in
motor function nor power.
At moment, what you should do is to continue the pain killer and
proper wound care and most important be keen on appearance of
alert symptoms that would indicate a problem in the brain. Such
alert symptoms include; persistent
headaches with increasing
intensity relieve by
vomiting and resistant to pain killers, drowsiness
or progressive loss of consciousness, weakness in a limb or limbs etc.
The appearance of any of such symptoms necessitates a consultation
and a
CT scan exam.
