Hi, I experience sleep apnoea as does my father. I am 47 year old female. Recently, I have experienced what can only be described as a sudden breath or gasp regardless of whether I am inhaling or exhaling (daytime). It only happens once and then may not occur for a a day, week or even month. What might this be?
This is not sleep apnea. I t is deep sighing reflex that is common for everyone however its just that u have realised it every now and then when it happens. Unless you are breathless, it is not a thing to be concerned for.
