General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

PCOS is a lifestyle disorder. The food we eat, how active or sedentary we are can cause one to develop PCOD. Whether it can be inherited is still under debate. The only sure shot way to manage PCOS is by good lifestyle habits. Healthy food and regular exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prakruthi,
