What Causes Deep Pain After Oophorectomy?

I had bilateral oophorectomy 2 weeks ago. The wounds/skin have healed very well, but I am experiencing some deep pain, particularly on the right side. Is this normal? It's a dragging dull ache with occasional 'stabbing' sensation? I am 36 years old.
